The news that Colorado billionaire Phil Anschutz is a supporter of all things Koch should come as no surprise to the concert flocking public.The AEG honcho dabbled in film with Walden Media churning out Christian and family based movies like “Chronicles of Narnia” without as much as anybody mentioning this. The failure to connect the dots has left many up in arms regarding the media tycoon’s political and religious beliefs. But why now? Anschutz never hid his agenda. People are now mad because many feel that he’s using their money against his own customers. Denver’s primary concert venues are AEG booked. In order to boycott, many touring acts (some struggling) will find it hard to connect with fans exploring this route.
